At Shabbat services at 9 a.m. Saturday,
Nov. 21, Congregation Shaarey Zedek
in Southfield will honor retired Sen.
Carl Levin for all he has done for the
community and the country.
Levin grew up at Shaarey Zedek and
had his bar mitzvah there in 1947.
The shul is welcoming him back to the
community and thanking him for his
service.
Mandell "Bill" Berman will speak.
Rabbi Aaron Starr will offer a tribute
and present him with a gift. Chair
