ELEANOR PELTZ, 92, of Franklin, died Nov. 6, 2015. She is survived by her son, Barry Peltz of Franklin; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Laura Weisel and Dr. Philip Cass of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason and Jackie Peltz, Melanee and David Radner, Marisa Weisel, Sarah and Neal Edelson, Rachel and Dax Kauser; great- grandchildren, Zachary Peltz, Aaron Petz, Julia Peltz, Devin Wertheimer, Brooke Radner, Aaron Radner and Desiree Weisel. Mrs. Peltz was the beloved wife of the late Jacob "Jack" Peltz; the proud grand- mother of the late Joshua Weisel; lov- ing sister of the late Maj. Gen. William Weinstein; dear aunt of the late Patricia Shook, the late Emily Shook, the late Michael Weinstein; Patty's husband, Larry Shook. Interment was at Machpelah Cemetery. He was born in Detroit on Dec. 31, 1918, the youngest of four brothers and two sisters. He and his wife, Marian, both served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Ben enjoyed singing for amateur Hadassah shows. He had a wonderful voice. His best friend Harold "Doc" Roland used to accompany him many times. Mr. Saperstein is survived by his daugh- ter, Barbara Scheible (Robert); son, Steve (Vickie); grandchildren, Natasha Stevens and Aaron Scheible; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ben and Marian were married for 68 years. Their kindness and love touched many, and they will be forever in our hearts. His loving wife, Marian, passed away on Oct. 10, 2014.
