ABELMAN
FELDMAN, 75, of

West Bloomfield
died Oct. 27, 2015,
at St. Rose
Dominican San
Martin Hospital in
Feldman
Las Vegas, Nev.
c. 1998
She was born
in Detroit on Nov.
12, 1940, to Harold and Sarah
(Sally) Abelman. She lived in West
Bloomfield until 2004 when she
moved to Nevada to get away from
Michigan's cold winters.
Rochelle loved animals, old mov-
ies, reading, all things Disney and
popular culture. She enjoyed spend-
ing time with close friends, her
children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Feldman is survived by
her children, Bryan, Paul, Pamela
(Michael) Ryan, and Sally (Ryan)
Stanley; her sister, Bonnie Abelman;
and her grandchildren, Taylor,
Jaycob, Jack and Sarah.
The family will hold a memorial
service at the Kingsley Inn, 39475
Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills
on Friday, Nov. 27, from 7-9 p.m.
Contributions may be made to
the Humane Society of the United
States.

DR. RICHARD
GERST, 87, of

Southfield, died
Nov. 2, 2015.
He is survived by
his daughter and
son-in-law, Cynthia
and Jon Morris; son
Gerst
and daughter-in-
law, Ron and Mary
Gerst; grandchil-
dren, Rachel Morris and Jennifer
Morris; sister-in-law and brother-
in-law, Julie and Philip Saltzman;
nieces and nephews, Edward
Saltzman, Richard Saltzman,
Candice Saltzman, Laurie Saltzman
and Matt Kovatch; great-niece and
great-nephew, Megan Saltzman and
Chad Saltzman.
Dr. Gerst was the beloved hus-
band for 59 years of the late Sally
Gerst; the cherished brother of the
late Lt. Col. Theodore and the late
Alice Gerst; the devoted son of the
late Samuel and the late Eleanor
Gerst.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park. Contributions
may be made to the Alzheimer's
