Schwartz Joining in his cele- bration will be his parents, Rhonda and Jeff Schwartz, and his sister Ariana. Proud grand- parents are Henny and Joe Schwartz, Shirley Newberg, and Annette and Marty Newman. He is also the grandson of the late Arthur Newberg. Noah attends Bloomfield Hills Middle School. Among the many mitzvah projects he participated in were volunteering at Franklin Round Up and a Trick-or-Treat walk for pri- mary ciliary dyskinesia. Riley Alexa Shapiro, daughter of Brenda and Adam Shapiro, will lead the congrega- tion in prayer on the occasion of her bat mitzvah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Friday, Nov. 6. She will be joined in celebration by her brothers Reed and Trevor and proud grandparents Paula and Michael Shapiro, and Evelyn and Jim Miller. She is the great-grandchild of Charlotte and the late Sidney Moskowitz, the late Rita and Ted Shapiro. Riley is a student at West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. As part of her mitzvah project, she organized a dance-a-thon to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of her cousin Ozzy Bettinger. She found this experience to be very meaning- ful.
