IRVING HERBERT
SHANBOM, 89, of
Farmington Hills and
Hollywood, Fla., died
Oct. 19, 2015.
He was a pharmacist
who owned Firestone
Drugs and Barton
Shanbom
Drug, both in Detroit.
Mr. Shanbom is
survived by his wife
of 54 years, Patricia Shanbom; sons
and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Shanbom
and Dr. Laura Freedman, Dr. Steven
and Sherry Shanbom, Sam and Franci
Shanbom; daughter and son-in-law,
Andrea and Dr. David Siegel; grand-
children, Scott, Zachary and Matthew
Shanbom, Cory and Tyler Shanbom,
Marissa, Jake and Josh Siegel; sister,
Edith Keiden; brothers-in-law and sis-
ter-in-law, Sandy and Cheryl Nicholson,
and Howard Nicholson; many loving
nieces, nephews and friends.
He was the loving brother of the
late Sylvia and the late Dr. Morris
Greenberg, the late Pearl Shanbom; the
dear brother-in-law of the late Milford
Keiden and the late Melody Nicholson.
Interment was at Beth Tefilo Emanuel

ROBERT STONE, 55, of Birmingham,
died Oct. 20, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne
Stone; mother, Marilyn Stone; sister and
brother-in-law, Shelli and Roane Gaddy
of Commerce Township; brothers-in-
law and sister-in-law, Keith Barley,
Ronald and Linda Barley; nieces and
nephews, Shaun Gallagher, Michelle
Morris, Rebecca Barley, Jennifer Barley;
many other loving family members and
friends.
Mr. Stone was the son of the late
William Stone.
Contributions may be made to the
American Cancer Society. Interment
took place at Machpelah Cemetery in
Ferndale. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

SHIRLEY TAUB, 91, of
Southfield, died Oct. 19,
2015.
She is survived by her
daughter and son-in-
law, Francine and Lester
Berman of Southfield;
sister and brother-in-
Taub
law, Mary and Dr. James
Keene; grandchildren,
Nathaniel and Rena
Berman, Caroline Berman; sister-in-law,
Charlotte Bloom; great-grandchildren,
Devorah Berman, Rivkah Berman; other
family members and friends.
Mrs. Taub was the beloved wife for 19
years of the late Samuel Taub; dear daugh-
ter of the late Sadie and the late Isadore
Bloom; loving mother of the late Calvin
Lee Taub; cherished sister of the late
Jerome Bloom.
