ONLINE INCITEMENT
Social media have proven prime sources for
Palestinian agitation. On its official Facebook
page, Fatah posted an armed and masked
terrorist with text threatening Israelis with
more attacks. "We will kill you here, Oh
Zionists. We are awaiting you. If you come
back, we will come back:' read the Fatah
pledge in both Hebrew and Arabic, accord-
ing to Steve Emerson's Washington-based
Investigative Project on Terrorism.
According to PMW, Fatah used Twitter
to pronounce that Israeli settlers are tied to
ISIS, the Islamic State terrorist group, and
that stabbing Israelis is "a symphony of love
for Jerusalem:'
Palestinian parents can be ambassadors of
hate as well. One mother "let out cries of joy"
when her 19-year-old son became a "martyr"
after stabbing to death two Israeli men in
their 40s in the Old City.
Diplomacy alone cannot reverse a culture
that propounds via Fatah on Facebook: "We
are a nation that dies a martyrdom death
with a smile on its face:'
Israel must do more to end the occupa-
tion, limit land seizure, promote coexistence
and re-engage talks. But it also must stay
vigilant, defend its borders and protect its
people against Palestinian aggressors. *

Dry Bones THE TRAIN

Support Israel

As I prepare to depart on a trip to Israel
in the next few days, the headlines
reporting almost daily Palestinian
attacks can be disturbing to read. But
my wife, Sally, and I continue our
unwavering devotion to Israel and
believe that visiting at this time is,
among other things, a statement of
solidarity with the Jewish state. For
those of you who cannot visit Israel at
this time, we urge you to take actions in
support of our brethren.
Contact Michigan's U.S. senators or
your U.S. House member, asking them
to speak out in support of Israel's right
to self-defense. Write letters to local

newspapers and other news media
outlets, supporting Israel's fight, oppos-
ing terrorism and expressing hope for
peace. Talk to co-workers, neighbors
and friends about your support for
Israel, telling personal stories of your
visits or of the friends and family you
have there.
Finally, provide financial support to
the JCRC and the Jewish Federation and
other organizations that work to keep
Israel strong.
In the coming days, may we all see an
end to the violence and witness prog-
ress toward peace in Israel.
