R.I., formerly of
Detroit, died Oct. 10,
2015.
He received his
undergraduate and
Curhan
medical degrees
c. 1952
from the University
of Michigan. He was
an OB-GYN in Detroit before moving
to Narragansett in 1974. He retired
two years ago. He will be missed by his
family, friends and patients.
Dr. Curhan is survived by his wife
of 60 years, Adele; children, Michael
and Suzan Curhan of West Bloomfield,
Dr. Gary and Dr. Sharon Curhan of
Lincoln, Mass., Amy and Al Freedman
of Canton, Mass.; grandchildren,
Noah, Jessica, Stephanie and Sophie
Curhan, Joshua, Justin, Alexa and
Talia Curhan, Sarah, Andrea and Jill
Freedman; many sisters and brothers-
in-law, nieces and nephews.
Dr. Curhan was the son of the late
Dr. Joe Curhan and the late Dr. Polly
Pevin Curhan; brother of the late Dr.
David Curhan; son-in-law of the late
Israel and the late Ida Pearlman.
Interment was out of state. Local
arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

DORFMAN, 83, for-

Worth, Texas, passed
away peacefully Oct
8, 2015, at her home
surrounded by her
family.
Dorfman
Born and raised in
Detroit, Anita showed
a kind and gracious nature that put even
strangers at ease; she was loved and
respected by everyone who knew her.
Family was everything to her and her
greatest source of pride.
In addition to her beloved husband
of 64 years, Louis, Mrs. Dorfman is
survived by her daughters and their
spouses, Laura and Dan Laciak, Nancy
Dorfman and Jo Marsh, Eileen and
Martin Byhower, Sharon and Dave
White; her grandchildren, Emily, Sharon
and Mike; her great-grandchildren,
Shaylin and Brody; her brother and
sister-in-law, Mitchell and Hilda Bloom;
her sister, Doris Epstein; her beloved
nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her
sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and
Phil Bernstein; brother and sister-in-law,
Gerald and Fran Bloom; brother-in-law,
Raymond Epstein.
A private memorial service was
held. Contributions may be made to
one's favorite nonprofit. Arrangements
by Robertson Mueller Harper in Fort
Worth.

Anatoliy) Dantsker Koyfman.
Mr. Germash was the dear son-in-law
of the late Michael Gordon.
Contributions may be made to Jewish
National Fund (Trees), 24100 Chagrin
Blvd., Suite 100, Cleveland, OH 44122;
or to another Jewish charity. Interment
was held at Machpelah Cemetery in
Ferndale. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.
