of faith? In this course, Rabbi Aaron Starr will utilize lessons and lectures from the famed Shalom
Hartman Institute in Jerusalem to explore the foundational issue of faith, engaging in broad and

Dr. Jonathan Sarna is the Joseph H. and Belle R. Braun Professor of
American Jewish History and Chair of the Hornstein Jewish Professional
Leadership Program at Brandeis University, as well as Chief Historian of
the new National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia.
Professor Sarna will speak three times during his visit: on Friday night after
Shabbat dinner, at Saturday morning services, and after lunch on Saturday.
