orris "Moe" Kleiman and
Shirley "Dolly" Levine were
married Oct. 14, 1945, when
Moe returned from serving in the U.S. Army
during World War II. Shirley grew up in
Detroit and moved to Grand Rapids to wed.
They've built a partnership fueled by love
and commitment and continue, with 70
years of practice, to express their love for
one another daily. Their children, Ian and
Lynn; son-in-law, Herb Malinoff; and grand-
children, Gabriel and Aaron, will celebrate
with them along with other family and
friends in Grand Rapids on Oct. 17.

of their children Marnie Joy Kalfen and
Andrew Michael Rudick.
Marnie received her undergraduate degree
in psychology from Indiana University and
a master's degree in counseling from DePaul
University. She is employed as an executive
recruiter.
Andy received his undergraduate degree
in economics at Michigan State University
and an M.B.A. at Wayne State University. He
is sales manager for the North Shore of Chicago for Thomson Reuters.
The happy couple met at a Shabbat dinner through the Jewish Community
Center of Chicago. They live in Chicago and will be married this December.

arbara and Larry Traison of
Bloomfield Hills will celebrate
their 60th wedding anniversary
on Oct. 15. The couple will mark the occa-
sion with their family when all return home
for Thanksgiving. They are the parents of
Steve and Janice Traison, and the late Sheri
Traison Devries. Also celebrating will be
son-in-law, Jeffrey Devries, and his wife,
Debbie; and grandchildren, Danny, David
and Rachel Devries, Elizabeth, Rebecca and
Randi Traison, and Liz Kirshner.
