Esteemed Women of Michigan
Event held recently at the

honored exceptional women

Yuliya Gaydayenko, director of Older Adult Services at
Jewish Family Service, was the recent recipient of the presti-
gious Berman Award, which honors the career achievement
of an outstanding professional employed by the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, its family of agencies and
other Detroit-area Jewish social service organizations.
Recipients have made a contribution to and for the general
good of the Jewish community, demonstrating creativity, ded-
ication, knowledge and care in the provision of services to the
Jewish community.
Oakland County Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub was
appointed to the National Association of Counties leadership team.

Education, Children and Families on the Human Services and
Education Committee. She will also serve as a member of the Arts

and the majority of Bloomfield Township.
