wanted it to be different and cool

and special;' she says.

railing in the home's foyer, adding a

floating, jewel-like finish to the soft

warm gray-stained oak floors and

wood balusters, while grasscloth-

covered walls add texture. The Keith

Haring painting is from the Danielle

Peleg Gallery in West Bloomfield

Township."Ady [Danielle's son] is

amazing;' says Kory."He brought in

a bunch of pieces. He understands

that people have to live with the

art for a while. In a home like this,

with massive walls, you have to feel

it." The homeowner agrees. "He was

like, 'You like this? We'll frame it,

we'll hang it here and we'll be done

before your company comes for

dinner:"

OPPOSITE. "They wanted an edgier

feel, rather than a traditional dining

table;' says Kory of the oversized

square table, whose custom walnut

veneer base is topped with an

expanse of glass; the square crystal

pendant chandelier precisely

matches the proportions of the base.

Creamy velour chairs with cut-out

backs mix with a pair of benches in

metallic faux leather. Kory found the

painting at Peleg Gallery."It's like

someone came here and painted

it exactly for this house;' says the

homeowner. "It fits that perfectly
