lexandra Lebenthal, co-CEO
of Lebenthal Holdings and
also known as "The Queen
of Wall Street," will speak of the impor-
tance of empowering women with their
own financial destiny as the keynote
speaker for the Florine Mark 16th
annual Remarkable Women luncheon
from noon-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at The
Henry in Dearborn.
Lebenthal will
discuss lessons she

Lebenthal
by her grandparents,
municipal bond specialists Louis and
Sayra Lebenthal. Her grandmother
worked until age 93.

of confidence in Detroit's re-emerging
economy, in January she opened a
branch in Birmingham, headed by for-

Burke. It is the fourth of its offices to
open nationwide outside of New York.
A passionate supporter of women in
business, she was named one of the top
50 Women in Wealth Management by
Wealth Manager magazine. Lebenthal
last year created Sayra, a quarterly
online magazine named after her
grandmother for women financial
advisers.
Lebenthal will offer encouraging
words to women who are looking to
start their own business. There is also
room and opportunity for women who
are looking to re-enter the workforce.
