Temple Shir Shalom
Elects New Board
Temple Shir Shalom, a Reform
Jewish Congregation in West
Bloomfield, recently held its
27th annual meeting to elect its
board for 2015-2016.
Josh Sherbin of Bloomfield
Hills was elected to his first
term as president of the con-
gregation, replacing outgoing
president Lloyd Doigan who
served for three years. Newly
seated officer is vice president
of marketing, Allison Parr of
Bloomfield Hills.
Re-elected officers are vice
president of programming,
Fran Bell of Orchard Lake, vice
president of membership, Keith
Lublin of West Bloomfield, and
vice president of finance, Scott
Mazius of West Bloomfield.
Newly elected board mem-
ber is Michael Klass of West
Bloomfield. Re-elected to
an additional board term
are Tracie Engel of West
Bloomfield, Howard Goldman
of West Bloomfield, Howard
Morof of Farmington Hills and
Eric Krause of West Bloomfield.
All members will serve for
three years.

For Cancer Awareness
Two giant pink ribbon light
displays will illuminate Blue
Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's
21-story Downtown Detroit
headquarters building through-
out October to commemo-
rate National Breast Cancer
Awareness Month and encour-
age women to have regular
mammograms.
The 11-story high pink rib-
bons adorn both the north and
south sides of the BCBSM's
building on East Lafayette near
1-375 in Downtown Detroit.
