JACK GOLDFARB, 94, of Pompano
Beach, Fla., formerly of Oak Park, died
Sept. 10, 2015.
He was a kind, loving man who will
be missed by his friends and family. He
worked in the dry cleaning and laundry
business for more than 45 years.
Mr. Goldfarb was the son of the late
Wolf and the late Tillie Goldfarb. He was
also predeceased by his wives, Edith and
Cele; his sister, Sylvia Beresh; his brothers-
in-law, Mike Beresh and Irwin Shapiro.
He is survived by his sons, Alan
(Hilda) of Boca Raton, Larry (Sheryl)
of Atlanta and Rob (Jan) of Farmington
Hills; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Harold and Trudy Shapiro, and Marilyn
Shapiro. He had six grandchildren, Randy,
Shaun (Tara), Rian, Evan (Ashleigh), Alex
Goldfarb and Mallory (Pouya) Dianat. He
also had three great-grandchildren, Bella
and Elise Goldfarb, and Jack Dianat.
Memorial contributions may be made to
the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
LINDA SUE GREEN, 75
of Bloomfield Hills, died
Sept. 13, 2015.
Mrs. Green is survived
by her husband, Dr.
Ervin Green; son and
daughter-in-law, Eugen
and Michelle Green;

Elisabeth and Martin
Haenick; grandchil-
dren, Max and Sam Green, Elie and Ben
Haenick.
Interment was at Oakview Cemetery.

BURTON E. ISAACS, 80, of Boynton
Beach, Fla., died Sept. 17, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Isaacs;
son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Diane
Isaacs; daughters and son-in-law, Ellen
Rosenthal, Bonnie and Matthew Crocker;
brother, Gerold Isaacs; many loving grand-
children; nieces and nephews, Marc and
Naomi Isaacs, Lori and Adam Miller; dear
great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Isaacs was the loving son of the
late Louis and the late Ethel Isaacs; dear
son-in-law of the late Samuel and the late
Molly Lipson; cherished father of the late
Jay Markowitz; dear brother of the late
William Isaacs.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Services and interment
were held at Adat Shalom Memorial Park
in Livonia. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.
Katz
MAURICE KATZ, 81, of
Oak Park, died Sept. 15,
2015.
A retired plumber
for more than 50 years,
Mr. Katz was an Army
veteran who had been
stationed in Germany.
His main hobby was
woodworking, and he was a member of
a woodworking guild, B'nai B'rith and
of Plumbers Local #98 Retirees. He also
enjoyed studying, learning about and
examining watches. He became a mem-
ber of the Watch and Clock Association
because of his keen interest.
Mr. Katz is survived by his wife of 50
years, Phyllis Katz; daughter and son-in-
law, Shari and David Fitzjarrell of Aurora,
Colo.; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan
and Michelle Katz of Elkton, Md.;
grandchildren, Gabi Fitzjarrell, Zachary
Fitzjarrell, Rachel Katz and Daniel Katz.
He was the dear brother of the late
Sylvia Katz.

Gerald Trager.
