eztak Properties and partner

Etkin, a Michigan-based real estate

development company, recently
celebrated the grand opening of All Seasons
of Birmingham.
The celebration offered food, bever-
ages, entertainment and featured a tour of
the community. Guest speakers included
Elizabeth Carlson, Beztak Properties
president; Sam Beznos, Beztak partner;
Shelley Goodman Taub, Oakland County
Commissioner; Stuart Sherman, mayor
of Birmingham; Joe Bauman, president
of Birmingham/Bloomfield Chamber
of Commerce; and L. Brooks Patterson,
Oakland County Executive.
All Seasons of Birmingham, on the corner
of Maple and Elm Street, sits amid quaint
shops, dining and entertainment. The new
community has 131 luxury one- and-two-
bedroom independent senior living apart-
ments.
"I'm very excited about the opening of
All Seasons Birmingham. It gives our resi-
dents the opportunity to live in the center
of Birmingham to enjoy all the culture and
festivities that are just steps outside their
homes, while living in a sophisticated, inno-
vative and active senior community," said
Sam Beznos.
Oakland County Executive L. Brooks
Patterson said, "You have to come see this
place to believe how gorgeous the physical
plan is. All Seasons adds to the quality of life
in Birmingham and Oakland County"
The four-story location expects to be
fully occupied within six months. The com-
munity caters to well-traveled individuals
that enjoy resort-style independent living.
Amenities include first-class dining, enter-
tainment venues, fitness facilities, a diverse
mix of social events, lectures, classes and
escorted excursions.
The European-styled community also fea-
tures a well-stocked library with computer
bar, state-of-the-art fitness center, multiple
game and event rooms, and chef-prepared
fine dining.
All Seasons of Birmingham joins two
locations in West Bloomfield and Rochester,
other locations in Michigan are currently
under development.

fans would have an easier
time getting seats. "We want
to take exceptional care of a
smaller amount of guests' he
explained.
Goldstein, the 45-year-old
Bloomfield
Hills
resident
and self-
described
movie buff,
got into the
business for
,1
the love of
Jon Goldstein
the product.
For him, going to the theater
has always been more than the
movie on the screen. It's also
about the experience of being
there. It's no wonder then that
the duo have pulled out all the
stops in their latest venture.
The renovations and rein-
vestment are also welcome
news to Birmingham officials,
who took stock of the eco-
nomic and quality-of-life ben-
efits the partners' efforts bring
to the community, which will
create an estimated 50 jobs.
"We look forward to the new
concept Emagine Palladium
will bring to Birmingham':
City Manager Joseph Valentine
said. "The total redevelop-
ment for this site, including
the Emagine Theater, repre-
sents a desirability for invest-
ing in our downtown with
mixed-use projects in high
demand. Developments that
allow people to live, work and
play strengthen the appeal of
the downtown, and having
Emagine on board ener-
gizes this section of town even
more"
The Oct. 2 public grand
opening will be preceded
by three evenings of charity
events hosted by Glantz and
his wife, Mary, including two
"dinner-and-a-movie" eve-
nings on Sunday, Sept. 27, and
Tuesday, Sept. 29, followed by
a final grand opening charity
preview on Thursday, Oct. 1.
One hundred percent of
the ticket price will be split
evenly among four charities —
Beaumont Children's Hospital,
the Community House, Kids
Kicking Cancer and Variety —
the Children's Charity.
