SADIE "SUE" GOLDEN
ROSEN, 106, of
Eatontown, N.J., died Aug.
26, 2015.
She came to America
from Romania at the age
of 9 to join her father
and brothers in Flint. She
worked
as a stenographer
Rosen
and soon met her hus-
band, Maurice W Golden.
A widow at 48, she lovingly raised her
daughters, Francene Kaplan, Joyce Seyburn,
and Gloria Kaplan; and a son, Melvin Golden
(now deceased). While raising her daughters,
she worked at Saks and volunteered at several
Jewish charities. At age 70, she married Henry
Rosen (now deceased). She was always loved
and admired by family and friends.
Mrs. Rosen leaves eight grandchildren,
Wendy (the late Michael Kaplan), Mark and
Reuven Seyburn, Angie Kurinsky, Michele
Fine, Andrea Yanoff, Ross Kaplan; 17 great-
grandchildren
Interment at Beth Moses Cemetery.

LAWRENCE STEIN, 62,
of Livonia, died Sept. 5,
2015.
A volunteer at Yad Ezra
and many other organiza-
tions, he would give the
shirt off his back. He also
loved hobbies such as his
trains. He had a positive
outlook and was always
looking forward to tomorrow.
Mr. Stein is survived by his wife, Sally
Stein; daughters and son-in-law, Elizabeth
and Kyle Rehner of Livonia, Evelyn Stein of
Livonia; sisters and brother-in-law, Karen and
Joe Janiga, Shari Stein; mother-in-law and
father-in-law, Phyllis and David Scherman;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Elliott and
Marilynn Scherman; nieces and nephews,
Adana Janiga, Jeffrey and Angela Scherman,
Bridgette and Billy Hall, Roxanne and Leno
Marques; Kyle's parents, Richard and Sonia
Rehner; seven great-nieces and great-neph-
ews; other relatives and friends.
Mr. Stein was the loving son of the late
Evelyn and the late Bernard Stein.

SARAH WEINBERGER, 92, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Sept. 1, 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years,
Sam Weinberger; daughter and son-in-law,
Doris and Frederick Blechman; grandchil-
dren, Lisa Blechman, Stephanie and Yoni
Shoag, Joshua Blechman and fiancee, Alexa
Finkelstein; great-grandchildren, Isaac Shoag,
Orly Shoag; loving nieces and nephews, Jenny
and Eliezer Dorfman, Harry and Diane Young;
many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mrs. Weinberger was the loving daughter
of the late Naftoli Hertzel and the late Shaindel
Young; dear sister and sister-in-law of the late
Max and the late Rose Young, the late Shmuel
and the late Henya Young, the late Shlomo
Young, the late Rozi Young.

Life Center, funded by the Ira Kaufman Chapel, presents the
18th Annual Kever Avot. This very special program provides
an opportunity for older adults in the community to visit the
gravesides of their loved ones. This program serves the
residents of assisted living facilities and apartments.
Spend Sunday September 20th remembering your loved ones.
Each participant will be accompanied by a volunteer on a
one-to-one basis for the morning.

Mrs. Yarrows was the beloved wife of the
late Dr. Alvin Yarrows; the sister of the late
Jack Prince.
Interment was held at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery in Birmingham. Contributions

ALLEN ZATKOFF, 76, of Las Vegas, Nev.,
passed away on Sept. 3, 2015.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1939, in Detroit
to Harry and Eva Zatkoff. He loved his work.
His passions were his '66 Mustang Fastback,
the Mustang Club, car shows and traveling. He
will be terribly missed.
Mr. Zatkoff is survived by his wife Florence;
his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Beth
Zatkoff; his daughter and son-in-law, Leslie
and Chip Davis; three stepchildren; his sister,
Marilyn; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews,
cousins and extended family.
Contributions may be made to Ronald
McDonald House or the American Cancer
Society. King David Memorial Chapel handled
the arrangements.

The obituary for Myron Charfoos (Sept 3)
should have indicated that one of his surviving
grandchildren is Dustin.
