best Disney songs of all time. Noah's
ultimate goal is to follow in Menzel's
footsteps.
"I love the nervous excitement of
being onstage he says. "It's fun try-
ing to immerse yourself in a song or
a character."

Teens4Arts

To share his love of music and per-
formance and give back to the com-
munity, Noah and a group of friends
started a grassroots student-run non-
profit called "Teens4Arts." Over the
last three years, they've raised approx-
imately $170,000 for the Mosaic
Youth Theatre in Detroit, which high-
lights the talents of young Detroiters.
Last year, Neiman Marcus came on as
the groups corporate sponsor.
"The money enables us to provide
scholarships and funds for travel,"
said Rick Sperling, Mosaic's president
and founding artistic director. "We
could not do it without the help of
Teens4Arts."
Mosaic "seeks to empower young
people to create positive changes
in their lives and communities by
helping them develop patterns of
cooperation, disciplined work habits
and effective problem-solving skills
through the creation of high-quality,
professional-level performances of
theater and music; according to the
group's website.
The youth theater serves about 500
students each year; its performing
ensemble has visited the Kennedy
Center, the White House and coun-
tries around the world.
The group will put on a special per-
formance, Make That Change, at the
Berman Center for the Performing
Arts in West Bloomfield on Sunday,
Oct. 18. Noah will join the youth
singers onstage for the one-time show
that includes a mixture of choral
music and a high-energy tribute to
the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
"Noah is a musical theater fanatic
and he's very talented," Sperling said.
"He will be part of our opening
act. I've seen Idina Menzel perform
and pick people out of the audience
before. How cool that she chose
Noah! I am certain he knew all of the
words and was 100 percent prepared
for his moment in the spotlight:"

formance, call the Berman Box Office at
