Eli Harris Ribiat,
son of Jennifer and
Steven Ribiat of West
Bloomfield, will be
called to the Torah
on Saturday, Sept. 5,
at Congregation
1111L Beth Ahm in West
Ribiat
Bloomfield. He repre-
sents the sixth gener-
ation of his family's membership with
the congregation. He is the grandson of
the late Laurence and the late Sara
Ribiat, the late Carol Gordon, Arnold
and Carolyn Gordon, and Patricia
Ribiat. Eli's siblings, Avery and Blake
Ribiat, are also excited to share this
simchah with him.
Eli is an eighth-grade student at the
Roeper School in Birmingham. Among
his many mitzvah projects, he feels
that the most meaningful was collect-
ing donations for Beaumont Children's
Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House
of Detroit, the West Bloomfield-based
Friendship Circle and Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation.

Miami, the late Rudy Stein, and
Roberto and Eileen Schaps of
Guatemala.
Ariella attends O.E. Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. Among
her favorite mitzvah projects are
teaching and taking care of younger
girls; she's raising money to send to
the children who live in poverty in
Guatemala.

grandparents are Dr. Michael and Shelli
Dorfman of West Bloomfield, and Larry
and Pearl Schon of Oak Park. Great-
grandparents are Jerry and Ceil
Liebman of Southfield, Joyce Dorfman
of Farmington Hills and Albert Ferleger
of Southfield. Shira is also the great-
granddaughter of the late Saul
Dorfman, the late Molly Ferleger, and
the late Isadore and the late Sylvia
Schon.
Shira is a student at Akiva Hebrew
Day School in Southfield.
