Gary Burnstein Clinic Gets
Grant From Farber Family
The Dr. Gary Burnstein Community
Health Clinic (GBCHC) has received a
$300,000 grant from the William and
Audrey Farber Family Foundation. The
funds will support the completion of
the building's capital improvements as
well as continued and expanded opera-
tions throughout the year.
The GBCHC provides top-quality
healthcare to vulnerable community
members at no cost, ensuring that all
treatment is received in a caring, com-
passionate and dignified atmosphere.
Due to the ever-growing needs within
the communities it serves, the clinic
recently moved into a larger facility,
enabling its volunteer corps of physi-
cians, nurses, dentists, specialists and
other medical professionals to reach
more patients and families in need.
"We visited the clinic's new facilities
and saw the amazing work being done
by its team of committed professionals
and volunteers," said William Farber.
"We believe so strongly in its mission:'
In recognition of the grant, the
GBCHC plans to rededicate its onsite
pharmacy as "Farber Drugs," in tribute
to the William and Audrey Farber
Family foundation.
"This generous gift will enable us
to finish the last remaining building
improvements quickly and efficiently:'
said Ian Burnstein, vice president of
the board of directors at the clinic.
