president for three years. She will focus on
freshmen student programming and engage-
ment.
Rotem Raiter will serve
as an Israel fellow for
MSU Hillel and HCAM.
He was born in Haifa and
grew up in Givat Ela. He
served for three years as
a dog handler and com-
mander in Oketz, an IDF

canine unit. Raiter recently
graduated from the Max Stern Yezreel Valley
College in the Lower Galilee with a bachelor's
degree in economics and management.
Ziv Zelinger will also
serve as an Israel fel-
low for MSU Hillel and
HCAM. Born in Afula and
raised in Nazareth Illit, he
served for three years as
a crew commander in the
artillery corps and as a
driving instructor. Zelinger

recently earned a bach-
elor's degree in sociology, anthropology and
political science from the Max Stern Yezreel
Valley College in the Lower Galilee.
Raiter and Zelinger previously served as
counselors at Tamarack Camps in Ortonville,
and both grew up in communities located in
the Metro Detroit Parternship2Gether Region.
They will work with students statewide to
create diverse Israel programming, promote
opportunities for travel and study in Israel,
enhance and grow Israel advocacy on campus,
and work with university faculty. @
