ecstatic to announce the birth of their son, Jordan Scott
(Simcha Chaim). Welcoming Jordan home are twin big
brothers Noah and Dylan Barnett. Jordan's grandparents are
Russell and Mary Barnett of Bloomfield Hills, and John and
Debi Kortanek of Orange Village, Ohio. Jordan is the great-
grandson of the late Marjorie Gutterman, the late Dr. Meyer
Gutterman and the late Harvey Barnett. Jordan is named in
loving memory of his maternal great-grandmothers Shirley
Silverstein and Harriet Kortanek, and his paternal great-great-
grandmother Shirley Salk.

hea and Karl Schaefer of Oak Park
celebrated their 60th anniver-
sary June 11 with a recent visit to
Comerica Park hosted by their four sons and
their families. The group enjoyed a buffet at
the Tiger Club and then watched the Tigers
and the Toronto Blue Jays. A highlight of
the event was the scoreboard display after
the fourth inning congratulating the couple
on their amazing milestone. After all these
years, Karl still refers to Rhea as his "bride:'
