Older adults look forward to the

winds its way between residences on
the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum
campus in West Bloomfield.
This year's Senior Dream Cruise

Senior Dream Cruise eight years ago
with 20 cars. Approximately 30 vol-
unteers come to help, some dressed
in vintage attire like poodle skirts.
Motown-style entertainment will come
from Rennie Kauffman.
"Residents love it — they look so
forward to this:' says Libby Lavine,
event coordinator. The Senior Dream
Cruise is a way to bring the Woodward
Dream Cruise to the residents.

Kroger Reopens Five
Former Hiller's Stores
Five former Hiller's Market loca-
tions in West Bloomfield, Commerce,
Northville Township, South Lyon and
Ann Arbor reopened as Kroger stores
on Wednesday.
"Kroger is proud to continue the
Hiller's Market's legacy for fresh:' said
Jayne Homco, president, the Kroger
Co. of Michigan. "We are also pleased
to be able to retain many former
Hiller's associates and all Hiller's store
managers, which has helped us transi-
tion the stores and select products that
will appeal to local customers:'
Kroger has converted five of the
seven Hiller's Market locations to
Kroger stores, with the sixth, the
downtown Northville store, scheduled
to reopen this fall.
The new stores will also feature
expanded hours of operation from 6
a.m. to midnight daily. Shoppers may
apply for the Kroger Plus card at any
Kroger location.
Investment in the six former
Hiller's Market locations is part of
Kroger's Michigan-wide strategy to
invest approximately $150 million in
Michigan store remodels, expansions
and new fuel centers during 2015.
