Head Island, S.C., for-
merly of Bloomfield
Hills, died June 13, 2015.
She was a creative
interior designer at
Steinberg
Englander's Furniture
in Michigan. She moved
to Hilton Head Island in
1979 with her husband, Robert Steinberg.
Carmell opened her culinary store, The
Second Course, in 1981 and it became a
popular spot on the island due to her love
of people and fine cooking classes.
Carmell was known for her kind heart
and great humor and will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Steinberg is survived by her
beloved husband, Robert Z. Steinberg;
her beloved daughter, Gail Patricia
Ball and Gail's husband, Mel Ball; her
beloved son, Paul Steinberg; her beloved
grandchildren, Lauren Ball, Jason
Ball and Jason's wife, Lyndsay, Cory
Steinberg and Sean Steinberg.
Contributions may be made in her
name to Hadassah, Hilton Head Chapter.
Interment was at Six Oaks Cemetery, Sea
Pines, Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Bloomfield, died June 28, 2015.
She is survived by her son, Dr.
Sherwood "Woody" Swartz; sister,
Shirley Weiss; friend, Linda Bloch;
grandchildren, Bradley (Dana) Swartz,
Damion (Janna) Alexander, Cameron
Swartz; great-grandchildren, Matissa,
Zane, Samuel and Sophia; many loving
nieces, nephews, other family members
and friends; her devoted caregiver and
friend, Judy
Mrs. Swartz was the beloved wife of
the late Burtram "Bert" Swartz, mother
of the late Douglas Swartz; sister-in-law
of the late Alex Weiss.

took place at the Eternal Light Memorial
Gardens Cemetery in Boynton Beach,

He was the cherished son of the late
Mary Edith Weizen and the late Louis
Weizen; loving brother of the late Fay
Rotblatt; brother-in-law of the late Ted
Rotblatt.
Interment took place in California.
