SHELDON
LEONARD BLAIR,
63, of West
Bloomfield, died June
22, 2015.
He was joyful,
fiercely independent,
passionate about
Blair
trying to make a dif-
ference and a dear
friend who will be
missed by so many.
Mr. Blair devoted himself to his
family and numerous organizations,
serving as Master of Perfection Mosaic
Masonic Lodge 530, vice president of
the Michigan Chapter of StandWithUs,
float organizer for the Walk for Israel,
and supporter of ZOA and Act for
America. He did everything he could
to inspire support for Israel and the
Jewish people.
He leaves a lifetime of cherished
memories to his beloved wife of 34
years, Julie; daughter, Stephanie (Jason
Gurzell) Blair of Sterling Heights; son,
Michael Blair (fiancee, Jenny Kim) of
Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Gayle (Steven)
Rothenberg of Farmington, Rhonda
Blair of Burbank, Calif.; sisters-in-
law, Linda (Charles) Soberman of
Bloomfield Hills, Cathy (Kenneth)
Shiovitz of Seattle, Wash.; many other
loving family members and friends.
Interment was held at Beth
El Memorial Park Cemetery.

FISCHHOFF, 98, of
Ann Arbor, died June
24, 2015.
He is survived
by his children, Dr.

grandchildren, Maya Fischhoff and

Fischhoff, Mimi Nell Trevor and
William Frank Trevor; sister-in-law,
Rose Tessler Fischhoff.
Mr. Fischhoff was the beloved hus-
band of the late Shirley Fischhoff; dear
brother of the late Dr. Joseph Fischhoff,
the late Dr. Regina Berneis and the late
Hans Berneis.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may be

DR. ROBERT
GOLDBERGER, 76,
of Grand Rapids,
beloved husband,
father, physician and
friend, passed away
peacefully with his
loving wife, Mary
Pamela Goldberger, by his side on June
24, 2015.
Robert Goldberger was born in
Budapest, Hungary, on April 21, 1939.
Robert and his family settled in Detroit.
He attended Wayne State University
School of Medicine and served in
Vietnam as a U.S. Army physician dur-
ing the Vietnam War. Robert worked as
an anesthesiologist in private practice in
Pontiac and Grand Rapids for 32 years.
In addition to his beloved wife, Mary
Pamela, Robert is survived by his loving
sister, Erica Herczeg; his devoted chil-
dren, Rachel Goldberger (Shawn Orme),
Aaron Goldberger (Jill Goldberger) and
Abigail Goldberger (Francine Paston);
his beautiful grandchildren, Katie, Jenna,
Noah, Nathan, Charlotte and Adam.
He was predeceased by his parents,
Hermann and Sara Goldberger.
Contributions may be made to a chari-
ty of one's choice. A graveside service was
held at Hebrew Memorial Park Cemetery.
