DR. RAYMOND
KARL LEDERMAN,
65, passed away
peacefully at his
home on June 15,
2015, after a long
battle with cancer
His compassion
Lederman
and deep devotion
to his family and
values made him a
guiding light to all who knew him.
Dr. Lederman was born on Feb.
24, 1950, in northwest Detroit.
He attended Bagley Elementary
School, Hampton Middle School
and Mumford High School. He and
his family attended Beth Aaron
Synagogue.
Ray graduated from the University
of Michigan and then attended
medical school at Michigan State
University. He practiced family medi-
cine in California before moving to
Tucson, Ariz., in 1982 to complete a
psychiatry residence at the University
of Arizona.
A passionate advocate for child and
adolescent mental health, he served
in leadership roles at Arizona hospi-
tals and mental health organizations,
and reformed Arizona's mental health
system for children as associate medi-
cal director of the state's behavioral
health division. After retiring, he
consulted for the Justice Department,
where he audited and monitored psy-
chiatric facilities nationwide.
Ray was a devoted son, brother,
father, husband and friend who
exuded a gentle strength and a radi-
ant smile.
He is survived by his wife of 32
years, Amy Hirshberg Lederman of
Tucson; his son, Joshua Lederman
of Washington, D.C.; his daughter,
Lauren Lederman, of Tucson; siblings,
Martin (Sheila) Lederman and Judith
(Sheldon) Gold of West Bloomfield
and Sema (Wayne) Lederman of
Chapel Hill, N.C.
A funeral was held June 18, 2015,
at the Tucson Jewish Community
Center. Contributions may be made
to the Community Food Bank of
Southern Arizona, the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation or the
American Cancer Society.
SUSAN E. NUSHOLTZ, 65, of
Southfield, died June 16, 2015.
She was an avid bowler with many
leagues, including through Jewish
Women's International. Susan was
involved with Southfield city politics
and was also very involved with the
Southfield school system as a con-
cerned parent.
For more than 12 years, Susan
was the sweetheart, honey darling of
Michael Jablonowski. She is also sur-
vived by her son and daughter-in-law,
Jeffrey Nusholtz and Crystal Tyrrell of
Southfield; Michael's children, Julie
and Marla; other loving family mem-
bers and friends.
Mrs. Nusholtz was the beloved wife
of the late Robert Nusholtz; dear sis-
ter of the late Mark Manhoff; niece of
the late Rose Cohen Resnick.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment was
held at Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

Southfield, died
June 20, 2015.
She is survived

grandchildren, Peter Jablonski, Jeffrey
Kaiser, Leslie Jablonski (fiance,
Michael Carmona), Mitchell Kaiser,
Alexandra Corrsin, Eric Myers,
Zachary Myers; many nieces, neph-
ews, other loving family members
and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Dr. Coleman Rottenberg.

died June 19, 2015.
She is survived
by her son, Joel H.

of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren,
Lisa Schavrien, Amy and Jeffrey
Miller, Jessica Pell and Candice Pell;
great-grandchildren, Asher and
Elijah Miller; sister, Joy Melanson;
her former daughter-in-law, Marsha
Millman, and her husband, Dr. Neil
Millman.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Norman Schavrien.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made

Apts., 6700 W. Maple Road, West
