engagement of their daughter Jenifer
Lauren to William Andrew, son of Marci
and Michael Schoenbach of Westfield, N.J.
Jenifer and Billy met as undergraduates
at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
The couple currently live in New York City,
where Jenifer works in integrated market-
ing at Turner Broadcasting and Billy works
as an insurance broker at Aon focusing on
private equity.
A September wedding is planned at the
Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

usan Goldis and Nadav Goren were
recently married at Gindling Hilltop
Camp in Malibu, Calif., where they
met as counselors in 2004. The wedding
took place at the camp's mountaintop chapel,
overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The bride is the daughter of Cheryl and
Alexander Goldis of Bloomfield Hills and the
granddaughter of Libby Newman and the
late Lawrence Newman, Khana Vinarskya
and Shimon Goldis. The groom is the son of
Yedida Bernstein-Goren and Avner Goren of
Moshav Gan Chaim, Israel, and the grandson
of Ayala and Arthur Goren, and the late Rose
and Jacob Bernstein.
Both Susan and Nadav are lawyers, members of the bar in New York,
Washington, D.C., and Israel. Susan works in the protection of refugees, asy-
lum seekers and internally displaced persons at the United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Nadav is chief of staff at the Israeli
Embassy in Nigeria. The couple reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
