metro >> around town Adat Shalom Does The Blues Lazer Lloyd, "King of Israeli Blues," entertained at Missebaba 2015. A dat Shalom's Missebaba 2015 party on March 7 drew 350 member and friends. They celebrated Purim in grand style with inventive food and drink from Quality Kosher Catering and the amazing sounds of Lazer Lloyd, the "King of Israeli Blues:' Julie and Mark Teicher and Julie and Marty Wiener, all of West Bloomfield, chaired the gala happening. ❑ They worked hard to make it happen: Adat Shalom President Lori Issner, Susie Graham, Julie Teicher and Julie Wiener, all of West Bloomfield, and Joyce Weingarten of Bloomfield Hills. Marty Wiener chatting with Rick and Sheila Tyner, all of West Bloomfield Lazer Lloyd, "King of Israeli Blues," was joined by Hazzan Dan Gross for several songs. On The Runway Friends of Jewish Senior Life holds its Mother's Day Fashion Show. T welve residents of Hechtman, Fleischman and Meer residences modeled fashions from the three gift shops run by Friends of Jewish Senior Life recently to promote the merchandise in the shops as well as the need for volunteers to staff them. Models were accompanied by a special female friend or relative; they wore corsages made by Temple Israel preschoolers.
