mitzvah at the
Birmingham Temple
on Friday, May 15.
She is the precious
daughter of Heidi
Krugel
Brode and Joel Krugel
and the sweetest big
sister to Cami. Proud
grandparents Penny and Harvey
Brode, and Sally and Richard Krugel
are thrilled to be sharing Darby's
simchah.
Darby attends the Roeper School
in Birmingham. Among her various
mitzvah projects, she found the most
meaningful to be volunteering in her
elementary school library.
Alexis Gabrielle

ter of Janis Moss, will
lead the congregation
in prayer on the occa-
sion of her bat mitz-
vah at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield
Moss
on Saturday, May 16.
Sharing in her cele-
bration will be her
sisters Amanda and Madeline and
proud grandmother Florence
Hermann. Alexis is also the grandchild
of the late Harvey Hermann.
Alexis attends East Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. As part of
her mitzvah project, she has spent the
past two years collecting donations
including food, blankets, toys and
bedding for the Michigan Humane
Society.

and Alec. She is the grandchild of
William R. Simmons, the late Mrs.
Roberta Simmons, and the late Paul and
late Frances Pierce.
Paige attends Cranbrook-Kingswood
Girls Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
As part of her mitzvah projects, she
made a donation of toys to Oakland
Family Services, which she found to be
very meaningful.
Asher Melech

Huntington Woods
will become a bar
mitzvah through
Adventure Rabbi on
May 16, at the Tollgate
Farm in Novi.
Schreiber
Participating in the
ceremony will be his
mother and stepfather,
Lynne and Dan Golodner, as well as his
siblings, Eliana and Shaya Schreiber, and
Grace Golodner. His father is Avy
Schreiber. Proud grandparents are Sonny
and Norm Cohn of Farmington Hills,
and Rita and Bert Schreiber of
Southfield, along with stepgrandparents
Linda and Jack Golodner of Washington,
D.C.
Asher is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park. For
his mitzvah project, he created a divorce
support group for kids.

Hills announce the engagement of their
son Ben Kramer to Erin Ashley Bartos,
daughter of Michael and Janice Bartos of
Plymouth.
Ben Kramer earned his undergraduate
degree in retail management at Michigan
State University and works in financial sales.
Erin Ashley Bartos earned her undergrad-
uate degree in business at Michigan State
University and her juris doctor at Wayne
State University Law School. She is a bank-
ruptcy attorney in Metro Detroit.
A September wedding is planned at the
Henry Hotel in Dearborn.
