Salemi
to the U-19 Israeli
National Lacrosse
team, which will com-
pete at the FIL world cup this summer in
Scotland. She is a third-year varsity
lacrosse player on the Novi Wildcats.
Salemi has been recruited by and has
made a verbal commitment to play
Division I lacrosse at LaSalle University in
Philadelphia upon high school graduation
in 2016.

Alan Reinstein pre-
sented a paper, "Retail
Leases: A Student Case
Study:' at the 2015
Annual Meeting of the
North American
Accounting Society. It
earned the recognition
of the McGraw-Hill
Best Paper. More than
50 papers were submit-
ted to the conference.

Women of Wayne hon-
ored Academy Award-
winning filmmaker
Sue Marx at its annual
Headliner Awards
event in April. The
awards are presented to
WSU alumni whose
Marx
achievements have
made headlines in the
media; they recognize
women who have made their mark on
society. Marx won an Oscar for her docu-
mentary short Young at Heart.

Natasha B.
Dabrowski, 22, of West
Bloomfield was recent-
ly named Student of
the Year in the
Michigan Daily at the
University of Michigan.
A graduate of
Cranbrook Kingswood
in 2011, Dabrowski was
awarded the Grace Fry
Leadership Award for leadership in
Student Council and as captain of the var-
sity tennis team. At U-M, she was chosen
by the provost to be the undergraduate
student representative on the Dean's
Search Advisory Committee. She served
as president of the LSA Student
Government; her most notable project

there was the creation of a religion minor
in the History Department. Her course
work took her to Belgium for a summer
program studying the European Union.
She also served as president of the Order
of Omega Greek Honor Society.
Dabrowski was also the only Michigan
student awarded the MLK Drum Major
Service Award. She is the daughter of Dr.
Christine Dabrowski.
