e Beth El ... Our
in '5 Growin
As we celebrate our 165th anniversary this year, our commitment to
bright future shines with the addition of new leadership at Temple Beth El.
It's a pleasure to announce:
Kim Raznik, Executive Director
Debbie Morosohk, Director of Education
Susie Weiner, Director of Early Childhood Education
KIM RAZNIK began working at Temple at the end of February. She joins TBE after working as the Director of Operations
for the JCC of Metro Detroit. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise, including a proven track record of
managing such diverse fields as safety and security, facility logistics, arts and culture, staffing, and tenant relations.
Prior to her stint at our local JCC, Kim spent more than 20 years as a senior manager and producer for NBC News.
During that time, she was responsible for news gathering, field operations, communications, crisis management,
budget, personnel oversight, and strategic planning.
Kim grew up in Florida and earned her degree in Communications from the University of Florida. She lives in Bloomfield
Hills with her husband, Joe, and their two young daughters, Chloe and Hannah. She is a talented executive with experience,
Jewish connections, and an eye to the future — we are extremely excited to welcome her into the Temple family.
DEBBIE MOROSOHK began as Director of
Education in March. She has been involved in
Jewish education since she started teaching
religious school as a college student. She
earned a Master's Degree in Jewish Education
from Hebrew Union College in New York, and
is certified as a Reform Jewish Educator (RJE).
Previously, she has run numerous educational
programs, including 11 years at Temple Israel
in St. Louis and the last two years at Central Synagogue in New York.
Debbie grew up in suburban Boston and was drawn to the Reform
movement as a teen. She was active in NFTY, and vividly remembers
how her youth group involvement and traveling to Israel fostered a
lifelong love of Jewish learning and living. As our Director of Education,
she has the opportunity to bring Jewish tradition to life for all of our
members — through the Religious School, in her supervision of our ECC,
and working directly with adults and the broader community. Debbie
has been working with our Religious School parents, students and staff
to grow and expand our offerings to our students and the community at
large. She lives in Beverly Hills, and is the proud mother of two college-
aged daughters, Ellie and Shira.
Temple Beth El is also thrilled to announce
the hiring of SUSIE WEINER as Director of
Early Childhood Education. She will direct
our ECC center and guide the Temple's
programming for young families.
Susie grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has
a Bachelor's degree from the University of
Michigan and a Master's degree in early
childhood education from Bank Street
College of Education in New York. After working with many different
age groups in public schools, religious schools, and Jewish Day
schools, she has decided that her heart is with preschoolers and
their families.
Susie lives in Bloomfield Hills with her husband and three children,
as well as Lila, their dreadlocked dog. She is excited to join the TBE
family and officially starts on June 12th.
Please join us to for a Meet & Greet with Susie Weiner on
Wednesday, May 20 from 9:15 - 10 am or
