Irwin Green and A. Alfred Taubman have been named co-chairmen of the
pre-tampaign division—big gifts solicitations— of the Allied Jewish Campaign,
Charles H. Gershenson, campaign chairman, announced.

Obituari.
Towers in Florida, an active member of
City of Hope, Temple Israel Sisterhood
and the past president of the Northwest
Child Rescue.
She loved to play nickel nickel, canasta,
mah jong and poker.
She was the wife for 42 years to hus-
band, Sam; and companion after Sam's
death to Lee Golden for 12 years; later,
after his death, to Bernie Stern for 13
years until his death three years ago. She
felt she was a very lucky lady to have had
them and their loving families in her life.
She leaves behind her daughters and
sons-in-law, Barbara Simons and Steven
Hall of Sanford, Fla., Sharon and Ken
Chupack of Walled Lake; grandchildren,
Diane (Alan) Bloom, Jennifer (Joe)
Daviduke, Gail (David) Cohen, Scott
(JC) Chupack, Eric (Amy) Chupack;
great-grandchildren, Ross and Hannah
Bloom, Sam and Dylan Chupack, Jordyn
and Allison Cohen, Brody and Mason
Daviduke; niece, Diane (David) Koller;
many other loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Mrs. Letvin was the beloved wife of the
late Sam Letvin; the mother of the late
Michael Alan Letvin.

locally. Interment took place at the Beth
El Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.

ESTELLE MAKROUER, 89, of Mission
Viejo, Calif., died April 15, 2015.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda
Kushner; son and daughter-in-law, Cary
and Heidi Makrouer; grandchildren,

Smolens, Joshua Kushner, Collin Kushner;
great-grandchild, Jordyn Oppenheim.
Mrs. Makrouer was the beloved wife of
the late Hymie Makrouer; the cherished
mother of the late Joyce Oppenheim;
the dear mother-in-law of the late Jerry
Kushner; the loving grandmother of the
late Eileen Oppenheim.

admired by his clients,

family.

friends, nieces and nephews.
