She will be joined in celebration by her sister Elizabeth and grandmother Brenda Weisberg and, via the Internet from Russia, her grandparents Euguenia and Alexander Volchok. He is the loving son of Stacey Welford and Bruce Welford and brother of Marci. Sharing in his cele- bration will be his proud grandparents Joyce and Edward Welford, and Arlene and Marvin Gurecki. Brett is a student at Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield. For his mitzvah experience, he volunteered at TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer), a community-based train- ing and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. Applebaum 50th H oward and Lorraine Applebaum of West Bloomfield will cel- ebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 25. They were married on that date in 1965. They look forward to marking this milestone with their proud and grateful children, Renee Applebaum- Spagna and Randy Spagna, Ron Applebaum and Jennifer Kaplan, as well as their four adoring granddaughters, loving extended family and friends.
