Project H.O.P.E.

B'nai B'rith leads effort to prepare
Passover baskets for those in need.

A

s part of B'nai B'rith

International's Program,
Project H.O.P.E. (Helping
Our People Everywhere), local B'nai
B'rith volunteers — with help from
teen BBYO members — met on
Sunday, March 29, at Jewish Family
Service in West Bloomfield to package
50 boxes of kosher-for-Passover non-
perishable food items for distribution
to less-fortunate families in the com-
munity.
The success of this project came pri-
marily from the generosity of individ-
ual donors, treasury gifts from B'nai

Specializing in Iconic 20th Century Furniture, Fine Art, Jewelry,
Home Decor and Women's Apparel.

B'rith Lodges and Units, and project
partners, Busch's Market in West
Bloomfield and the Office Connection
in Farmington Hills, that helped fill
the gap between good intentions and
the ability to realize them.
Volunteer participants included Bill
Braun, Sid Roth, Stuart Novick, Peggy
Novick, Lila and Steve Zorn, Stephen
Kaplan, Joel Marwil, Fran White,
Jerry Olson, Nita and Ron Steam,
Bobbie Levine and BBYO adviser Mike
Jedwab and BBYO teens Andrew Weiss
and Noah Meyerson.
