A screening of Nick Cave's work at the historic Redford Theatre
followed by a community celebration at The Artist Village.

Dance Labs

April 10-15, April 29-May 2, 2015

The artist will be participating at iconic Detroit locations,
including: Dequindre Cut, Brightmoor, The Parade Company,
Mexicantown, MBAD African Bead Museum, Eastern Market,
One Woodward and MOCAD. Follow Cranbrook Art
Museum and Opportunity Detroit on social
media for clues and event times.

July 13-August 1, 2015

In partnership with MOCAD, Nick Cave will design three
dance labs featuring public performances by local dance
companies and musicians.

September 26, 2015

Partnering with the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy and the
Detroit School of Arts, 30 dancer-activated horse sculptures
will parade along the Detroit riverfront.

A large-scale performance held at the Detroit Masonic Temple
featuring dancers, musicians and children involved in each
of Cave's projects. Free to the public.
