Comedian From Israel Plays
Ann Arbor Synagogue
Joel Chasnoff has been described as
"not your grandfather's Jewish come-
dian," but you would be comfortable
taking your grandfather or kids to
his show at Beth Israel Congregation
at 2000 Washtenaw, Ann Arbor, at 7
p.m. Sunday, April 26.
Chasnoff is a former IDF combat
soldier and author of the comedic
memoir The 188th Crybaby Brigade,
about his service in the Israeli Army.
His comedy is a 180-degree turn
from the "Borscht Belt" comics of
old. It's a mix of personal anecdotes
and keen observational humor.
Tickets for the ice-cream buffet
