Adat Shalorr Does The Blues

March 7 drew 350 member and friends.
They celebrated Purim in grand style
with inventive food and drink from Quality
Kosher Catering and the amazing sounds of Lazer
Lloyd, the "King of Israeli Blues:' Julie and Mark
Teicher and Julie and Marty Wiener, all of West
Bloomfield, chaired the gala happening.

emple Beth El hosted a Family Kabbalat
Shabbat on March 20. The program, geared
toward families with elementary-aged chil-
dren, was led by Rabbi Mark Miller, Cantorial Soloist
Rachel Gottlieb Kalmowitz and Program Director
Rachel Rudman, and included a traditional family-
style Shabbat dinner catered by Cutting Edge Cuisine,
joyful songs and blessings. Families worked together
on a handmade art project, featuring their family
photo, which was taken at the program. ❑
