loving mother of Scott Mirkin (Karen),
Wendy Mirkin Fox (Jim) of West
Bloomfield and Lance Mirkin (Ann);
dear sister of Joni Grossman; devoted and
loving "mom-mom" of Regina, Kenneth,
Amanda, Samantha, Blake, Jeffrey,
Courtney and Harrison. She is also sur-
vived by five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mirkin was the beloved wife of
the late Harry Aaron Mirkin; mother of
the late Brad Mirkin; dear sister of the late
Salvatore Ciociola.
Services were held at Goldsteins
Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks in
Philadelphia. Interment was at King
David Memorial Park in Bensalem,
Pa. Contributions may be made to the

STUART PLISKOW, 55, of Tampa, Fla.,
died March 24, 2015.
Raised in Oak Park, he resided in
Florida since age 18. He co-owned
Stonemaris Statue Land and operated
Town & Country Wholesale, indepen-
dently selling and supplying concrete stat-
ues and fountains across Florida.
Mr. Pliskow is survived by his wife of
30 years, Sally; sons, Ethan and fiancee,
Amanda Katz, of Seminole Heights, Fla.,
Jared and partner, Amanda Lachs, of
Boca Raton, Fla.; mother, Helen Pliskow
of Oak Park; brother, Rob of Huntington
Woods; sister, Hope of Madison Heights;
brother and sister-in-law, Richard and
Susan of Royal Oak; father-in-law, Jack
Zichlin of Tampa; brothers-in-law, Ira
and Fred of Tampa; sister-in-law, Edee
Hammer of Boca Raton; best friend, Alan
Kideckel of Berkley; nieces, nephews and
grandnephews.
He was predeceased by his father,
Sanford Pliskow; mother-in-law, Sylvia
Zichlin; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Pliskow
and Sue Zichlin; brother-in-law, Richard
Hammer.
Interment was in Lutz, Fla.

RUBIN, 91, of West
Bloomfield, died
March 27, 2015.
Dr. Rubin graduated

of Detroit Dental
School in 1946 at the
Rubin
age of 23. He was a
c. 1997
lifetime member of
Alpha Omega Dental
Association and a member of the Mensa
Society. He bowled with Alpha Omega for
many years and was an avid tennis player
and golfer.
Dr. Rubin served in the Army during
World War ll.
He is survived by his beloved wife of
68 years Ellie Rubin; son and daughter-
in-law, Dr. Larry and Nori Rubin; grand-
daughters, Rachel Rubin and fiance,
Tim Monahan, Jamie Rubin and fiance,
Jonathan Wachlarz; daughter, Karen
Kaufman and family; four great-grand-
daughters; sister-in-law, Helen Barnett
(the late Milton Barnett); many loving
nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Kenny
Rubin; devoted son of the late Rose and
the late Harry Rubin; brother of the late
Rachel Rubin.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
