The NEXT
Generation
Of Networking

Program is coming up on one-year anniversary.

BECKY HURVITZ

I SPECIAL TO THE JEWISH NEWS

EXTWork, a partnership
program between
NEXTGen Detroit and
JVS offering top-tier
networking opportunities for young
Jewish professionals in Metro Detroit,
will celebrate its one-year anniversary
on May 13 at Sabrage in Royal Oak.
"Since NEXTWork launched, we
have been fortunate to have the
support of local business leaders
across a range of sectors including
retail, finance, real estate, law,
nonprofit and technology," said Amy
Brody, NEXTGen Detroit employment
coordinator.
Over the last year, NEXTWork has
engaged more than 450 individuals
at its four networking events,
which have been hosted at local

institutions including dPop, the
Townsend Hotel, Shinola and, most
recently, Punch Bowl Social Detroit.
"I go to many networking events,
and NEXTWork truly provides
a high-quality and valuable
experience," said Benji Rosenzweig,
NEXTWork attendee and chair of the
NEXTWork committee. "The people
we attract to these events are
passionate about their businesses
and make meaningful connections
with one another."
Thanks to a generous endowment
from Hadas and Dennis Bernard, the
future looks bright for NEXTWork
and the many young professionals
building their networks and their
careers through the program.
