JOAN WEINTRAUB, 82, formerly of
West Bloomfield and Boynton Beach,
Fla., passed peacefully on March 15,
2015, in Chicago, Ill.
She was born Feb. 19, 1933, in Detroit.
Mrs. Weintraub is survived by her
brother, Dr. Sheldon Watnick (Liz); three
loving daughters, Nancy (Steve), Debbie
(Larry) and Lori (Richard). She was
blessed with four adoring grandchildren,
Jacob, Marlee, Lena and Garrett.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Donald Weintraub.
Services were held at Beth Israel
Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach on
March 19, 2015.
BETTY WEISS, 89, of
Farmington Hills, died
March 13, 2015.
She was involved
with the National
Council of Jewish
Women, Meals on
Wheels, Up and Out
Weiss
Program, and she was a
member of the USO.
Mrs. Weiss is sur-
vived by her son and daughter-in-law,
Mark and Andria Weiss; daughters and
sons-in-law, Deborah and Miles Barnett,
Sherelyn and Anthony Kahn; grandchil-
dren, Kevin and Amy Weiss, Kimberly
Weiss, Scott Weiss, Dr. Susan and
Jared Sherr, Seth and Cortney Barnett,
Jacob Kahn and Jessica Kahn; great-
grandchildren, Eliana Weiss, Samuel
Weiss, Gwendolyn Weiss, Rowan Sherr,
Henry Sherr and Rose Barnett; devoted
caregivers, Jennifer Halbrooks and Lori
Whiteside, R.N.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Sidney D. Weiss; the cherished mother
of the late Paul Weiss; the loving sister
of the late Norman and the late Minnie
Levine, the late Eva and the late Samuel
Pack.
Interment was at B'nai David
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
