ZBIGNIEW "ZIGGY"
EJSMONT, 64, died
March 8, 2015. As
owner of Krystyna's
European Spa in
Beverly Hills, he served
a sizeable Jewish clien-
tele and greatly appre-
ciated their goodwill
and patronage.
Ziggy was born in
Bialystok, Poland, on Feb. 3, 1951, and,
in 1985, brought his family to the United
States, young and thirsty for oppor-
tunity. Ziggy and his wife, Krystyna,
worked hard to create the beautiful life
they shared.
Ziggy was so very proud of Krystyna's
European Spa. He had always excelled
at working with his hands and, in 2000,
worked to remodel the Woodward loca-
tion. Then, in 2007, his craftsmanship
shaped the spa we see today in Beverly
Hills. Every flourish and detail is an idea
he brought to life.
After opening the new location, he
worked every day to perform the essen-
tial upkeep necessary for the longevity
of such an establishment, both with
physical and emotional maintenance.
There was never a dull moment; hav-
ing Ziggy around truly made the spa a
brighter place. His humor and charm
brought smiles to every face, and his
absence will be dearly felt.
Ziggy was not only a keen business-
person, but a devoted husband and
father as well. In all of his roles in life
he was truly remarkable, and he will be
deeply missed.
Ziggy Ejsmont was the husband of
Krystyna for 25 years; loving father of
Anna Opella (Kirk) and Eve Ejsmont;
