EARLY CHILDHOOD
CENTER
Private Modern Orthodox Day School located in Southfield, MI is
seeking a warm, dynamic and innovative Director of its Early Childhood
Center that provides a stimulating environment for children with ages
ranging from infants through Kindergarten. The Director of Early
Childhood is an integral part of the school's Leadership Team.
The Director of Early Childhood will develop, implement and execute
a developmentally appropriate curriculum as well as plan activities
both in and out of the classroom.
Specific duties include:
• Hiring, supervising, training, mentoring and professional
development for faculty
• Judaic and General studies curriculum implementation
and development
• Recruitment and admissions
• Co-coordinating special events
• Building strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Fulfill all licensing requirements
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education required
• Master's Degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood
Education strongly preferred
• ZA Endorsement strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge and commitment to Orthodox Jewish values
• At least 3+ years Early Childhood experience preferred
EXPECTATIONS AND BENEFITS:
• This position is a Full Time, year-round position.
• Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
