Wedding Belles

Whose big day is it, anyway? The flower girl, of course!

Lynne Konstantin I

Arts & Life Editor

eing chosen as a flower girl is a big
job for a little person, but one of
the biggest thrills is wearing a fairy-
tale dress for a day.
Although the long-standing tradition of
a poufy white gown in miniature is still a
favorite, like the wedding-gown itself, where
options abound for every bride's style, the
flower-girl dress is following suit. Trends

B

include everything from magnificent confec-
tions of lace and tulle, wrapped up in a silky
sash, to simple, diminutive sheaths.
Also like the grown-up gown, the littlest
stars' frocks can be chosen in a range of
delicious colors, from clean white with a pop
of punch to all-over blush, blue or gold to
match the bridesmaid.
