Hello, Nina!
Classic, tailored looks are injected
with a breath of fresh air.

here's a new look in town. And it's a classic.
Designer Nina McLemore may not be a
household name in women's fashion. But for
high-powered women around the world, including Hillary
Clinton, PepsiCo Chief Executive Indra Nooyi and masses
of everyday executives, lawyers and entrepreneurs,
McLemore is a go-to for impeccable designs that are as
strong as the women wearing them.
And for the first time, McLemore's unique styles
and philosophy will be available locally. Celebrating
with a grand opening this past September, a new
Nina McLemore boutique has opened in downtown
Birmingham just blocks from the principal shopping
area. In a space that was formerly the Birmingham
Public Schools Administration Building, the studio was
transformed by late developer Jeffrey Sumow and highly
regarded designer Ron Rea into a welcoming environ-
ment, lush with comfortable couches and full-wall win-
dows reaching to an industrial-style ceiling.
"We appreciate how busy our clients are and want
them to have an experience that is efficient while
offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere in a
beautiful setting, away from crowded malls," says Kathy
Zanolli, Midwest regional manager and manager of the
Birmingham studio.
While regular business hours are Monday
through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., clients are
