Jason Brooks and Catherine Jun of Chicago, Ill., joyfully
announce the birth of their son, Asher Aryeh Ilan. Asher
was welcomed home into the loving arms of his ecstatic
grandparents Lucia and Dongkyu Jun of Arcadia, Calif., and
Sara and Louis Brooks of West Bloomfield. Also welcoming
him were thrilled aunts, uncles and adoring cousins, Sophie
and Mya. He is the great-grandson of the late Lew and Rose
Brooks
Kruger, and the late Jack and Jean Brooks. Asher is named in
loving memory of Jason's dear friend Michael Asher Efros,
his late paternal great-grandfather Lew Kruger and late
paternal great-great-grandfather Isaac Kruger. With much love and pride,
Asher also received his Korean name, Jun Kun-Young, from his maternal
grandparents, Lucia and Dongkyu Jun.
