nieces and great-nephews; great-
great-nieces and great-great-neph-
ews, other family members, friends;
his devoted caregiver, Carolyn Paige.
He was the devoted son of the late
Israel and the late Esther Patrick;
the cherished father of the late Mark
Elliot Patrick; the loving brother of
the late Sadie and the late Maurice
Lahr, the late Bertha and the late
Jules Allen, the late Alyce and the
late Lee Diamond, the late Morey
Patrick; dear brother-in-law of the
late Bernard H. Winer; the proud
uncle of the late Judith Sandler and
the late Maureen Simon.
Interment was at Aaron Moshe
Cemetery. Contributions may be

HERBERT
RACKLIN, 87, of

Farmington Hills
died Feb. 26, 2015.
He was a Korean
War veteran who
served in the 40th
Infantry Division,
115th Medical
Racklin
Battalion. He grad-
uated from Wayne State University
School of Pharmacy and owned
Centerline Park Towers Pharmacy.
Mr. Racklin is survived by his
beloved wife, Marilyn Schafer
Racklin; sons, Robert Racklin,
Richard Racklin; daughters and
sons-in-law, Susan and Kevin
Bernstein, Andrea and Dean
Howlett; stepson and daughter-in-
law, Steven and Dr. Cara Schafer;
grandchildren, Jordan Costello,
Shayna Howlett, Nathan Anderson,
Aaron, Spencer, Marni and Aiden
Schafer; sister and brother-in-law,
Ruth and Mort Stockler; sister-in-
law and brother-in-law, Lillian and
Lester Shindler; devoted caregiver,
Mame Owens; many other loving
family members and friends.
He was the stepfather of the late

Sue Anne Schafer; brother of the late
Joe (the late Selma) Racklin.

brother-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Lou and Harriet Penfil, Betty Shear;
grandchildren, Brian Shulman, Joyce
and Jessie Spears, Joel and Emily
Just; great-grandchildren, Erin
Spears, Owen Just, Julia Just; loving
nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
Mr. Shulman was the beloved hus-
band for 74 years of the late Beatrice
Shulman; dear brother and brother-
in-law of the late Harry and the late
Beatrice Shulman, the late Sophie
and the late Sidney Wolf, the late
Frances and the late Lawrence Zeid,
the late Meyer Shear.

held at the Machpelah Oppenheim
Memorial Chapel in Ferndale.
Interment was held at Machpelah

Memorial Chapel.
