Super Sunday

Matching donor will
double your gift.

T

hanks to the Dr. Jeffrey
and Miriam Forman
Match, the Jewish
Federation is giving first-time and
returning donors a new incentive to
make the call, rather than wait for
the call on Super Sunday March 15.
From now through March 15, the
Formans are offering Federation
donors a dollar-for-dollar match
when they call in or go online to
make their donations or pledges of
any amount up to $180.
"For once, we're asking to be
on the receiving end of a phone
call:' says Roz Blanck, president of
Federation's Women's Philanthropy.
"Here's a way for people to be
more proactive in our Campaign.
It's like a vote, an affirmation that
Federation is here for good, and
we're all a part of the Campaign,
working together.
"Our message is — and always
will be — that every dollar and
every donor is precious to us. Our
numbers count and really make a
difference in our community, in
Israel and around the world"
Leah Trosch, Federation's
Women's Philanthropy campaign
chair, said, "We are all links in the
chain that is Jewish Detroit. Our
initiative starts with the under-
standing that we all live very full
and busy lives, and that it is impor-
tant to give everyone the opportu-
nity to participate in the Campaign
on their own terms, at a place and
time that works for them.
"Our goal is to make commu-
nication with our community a
two-way street, where everyone can
express their support by phone or
online when they are moved to do
so"
Reflecting on the dynam-
ics of Federation's 2015 Annual
Campaign, Forman, Campaign and
community development co-chair
with Sherri Ketai, said, "Our Match
Fund is a win-win, a means to dou-
ble the impact and double the good
work of every dollar donated online
or by calling in. Our ultimate goal
at the end of day is to reach more
donors and to raise more dollars
than ever before on a Super Sunday.
Our campaign results and numbers
prove time and time again that in
Jewish Detroit the impossible is
possible:'
