Mrs. Wirt served on the
Foundation Board of Delta College
and was a graduate of Delta when
it was known as Bay City Junior
College. Her real commitment in
her life was the care and wellbeing
of her family.
Mrs. Wirt is survived by her
children, Helen (Wirt) and Robert
Lee, Stephen and Dena Wirt,
Douglas Wirt and his fiancee,
Victoria MacKenzie; grand-
children, Michelle (Lee) and
Douglas Wexler, Joshua and Irene
Sheynman-Lee, Daniel Wirt, and
Liza Wirt; great-grandchildren,
Natalie and Zachary Wexler; sis-
ter Leah (Karse) Cash. The Wirt
family would like to thank all the
wonderful caregivers that have
helped ease the way.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Jack Wirt; her
grandson, Matthew Wirt; her
brother and sister, Albert Karse
and Florence Brenner.
Services were at the Penzien-
Steele Funeral Home, 608 N.
Madison Avenue, Bay City, MI
48708. Rabbi David Nelson presid-
ed. Interment followed at the Bay
City Jewish Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Zweigel was the cherished
sister of the late Morris Bensman
and the late Lawrence Bensman.
Interment was at Machpelah
