Turn Your Dreams
Into Reality
T
he Infusion Kitchen & Bath Showroom
by Etna Supply in Wixom, with its
thousands of products on display, is a
wonderful place to find creative solutions and
luxury products for your home, and soon it will
be even bigger and better.
The new showroom, which will be ready
next fall, will be three times larger and feature
state-of-the-art technology and more working
product displays than ever before.
"We are literally bursting at the seams with
all of the products we offer and still have more
in the warehouse," said Infusion's showrooms
manager Kristin Andrews.
Infusion Kitchen & Bath Showrooms are
an extension of one of the largest plumbing
supply houses in the Midwest. Established
in 1965, Etna Supply has become the go-to
place for meeting the needs of contractors,
engineers, architects and homeowners.
Its showrooms (six throughout Michigan) offer
customers a way to see and feel the products
before they buy them. Although they are al-
ways adding new products, Infusion's primary
focus is on Kohler.
Partners since 2014, Infu-
sion features an extensive
selection of Kohler products
for both the kitchen and bath
as well as artwork to brighten
up the walls and lighting,
door hardware and cabinet
hardware.
The showroom has an area
dedicated to the kitchen,
showcasing every finish and
style available and featuring
products such as touchless
kitchen faucets like the Kohler
Sensate. In the bathroom
area, customers can see work-
ing bath faucets and working
showers and try out an assort-
ment of rain heads, hand-held
showers, fixed heads and body
sprays to test out the feel
before they buy.
"We're able to suit any style
and budget," Andrews said,
"and meet any customer need
for all areas of their home."
Universal Design
Andrews is particularly excited about all the
new products for "universal design," which
involves designing products and spaces so
that they can be used by the widest range of
people possible. Universal design recognizes
that there is a wide spectrum of human abili-
ties. Everyone, even the most able-bodied
person, passes through childhood, periods of
temporary illness, injury and old age. Objects
designed for this range of human diversity are
easier for all people to use.
"One of the coolest new products are grab
bars that are built into normal bathroom ac-
cessories, like toilet paper holders, so at first
glance you don't even know it's a grab bar,"
Andrews said. "It takes away the stigma of the
'industrial handicapped look."
Another great product
with universal design,
Andrews said, is Delta's
Temp2O Technology,
which helps prevent water
temperature surprises. An
easy-to-read LED digital
display and background
color indicator make it
clear when the water
temperature is safe for you
and your family.
For families with aging
parents, Infusion can
design an entire bath
"using decorative ADA or
universal design products
that offer class, elegance
and style," Andrews added.

Luxurious Living
Infusion also has a wide
selection of products for
customers who appreciate
the finest things in life. For
example, it has a selection
of steam units, bath tubs
and toilets with Bluetooth capabilities so you
can listen to the radio or iPod while taking a
bath. Another great new product is the Kohler
Numi toilet, which is completely hands-free
with an automatic opening and closing lid,
auto flush, bidet function, seat warmer, foot
warmer and Bluetooth stereo system.
"We like to tell customers that it is the only
toilet that washes you, dries you, warms you,
sings to you — and tells you to have a nice
day," Andrews said. Customers can check it
out in the showroom along with the latest
products for chromotherapy, the use of light
in the tub or shower to assist in changing the
mood of the user.
"The level of service offered in our show-
rooms is greater than most of our com-
petitors," Andrews said. "We can create story
books for customers to keep when working on
large projects — not just as a memento — but
as something to refer to down the line if they
have problems with one of their products."
Infusion works with luxury builders and
designers, as well as the public. "Our business
is built on service first, sales second," Andrews
added. "Our employees are very knowledge-
able and consistently attend training seminars.
And even if we don't offer a product, we will
do everything we can to get it or direct the
client to another source."
For those that don't have enough time to
shop, Infusion's staff can help via phone, fax or
email. "Simply give us an idea of that what you
are looking for and we can send you multiple
selections to review," Andrews said.
"We'll guide you through the entire process,
making sure you have all the parts and pieces
needed to make everything work properly."
The current infusion Showroom is open
while the new showroom is being built.
