LL: Our office deals with everyone from doctors to lawyers to retail business owners to restaurants to independent contractors, like plumbers and electricians — liter- ally anyone with tax problems. That can mean folks who owe $50,000 or $500,000 or $5 million. Our job is to resolve the problem. While not every client will qualify for the offer in compromise pro- gram, whether that's state or fed- eral, it's all based on the financial criteria and the condition of the taxpayer.
