MOLLIE STOFFER,
89, of Oak Park,
died Feb. 20, 2015.
She is survived by
her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Howard
and Laurie Faber of
West Bloomfield;
Stoffer
daughter and
son-in-law, Sheryl
and Paul Vachon
of Oak Park; grandchildren, Marc
and Staci Faber, Adam and Frances
Faber, Holli and Jeffrey Shuchman,
Samantha Faber and Brian Petteys,
Evan Vachon; great-grandchildren,
Ava Faber, Jack Faber, Lillian Faber,
Hunter Shuchman, Luke Shuchman;
numerous other family members and
friends.
Mrs. Stoffer was the beloved wife
of the late William Stoffer and the
late Marvin Faber; loving sister and
sister-in-law of the late June and
the late Max Rubin, the late Maxine
Beckerman, the late Rose and the late
Oscar Shencopp.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment
was held at Hebrew Memorial Park.

Chapel.

DONALD
SANFORD
SUCHER, 89, of
Georgetown, Ky.,
formerly of Detroit,
died Feb. 15, 2015.
He was a World
War II Navy vet-
Sucher
eran and a member
of the Kentucky
Colonels.
Mr. Sucher raced sailboats and
was a commodore of the Great Lakes
Yacht Club. He and his wife, Shirley,
owned Echo Valley Horse Farm
and bred Kentucky Derby winner
Winning Colors in 1998 and also
Chris Evert, winner of the filly triple
crown.
Mr. Sucher loved golf and going
to horse shows with his daughter.
He was a member of the Keeneland
Club, the Thoroughbred Club, and
Greenbrier Golf and Country Club.
He never met anyone who
remained a stranger, and he was kind
to everyone.
Mr. Sucher is survived by his wife
of 53 years, Shirley; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Bruce and Kelly, Jeffrey
and Karen, and Steve; daughter,
Carmie; six grandchildren; brother-
in-law, Martin; caregiver, Mary
Green.
He was the devoted son of the late
Harry and the late Helen Sucher;

the loving brother of the late Gerald
Sucher, the late Irene Sucher Bader
and the late Shirley Sucher Cohen;
the dear brother-in-law of the late
Jean Sucher and the late Bernard M.
Cohen.
Services were held out of state.

Audrey Carson, Jennifer Carson,
Marissa Carson.
She was preceded in death by
her sisters, Freida, Rose, Gertrude;
her brothers, Sidney, Louis (Abe),
Theodore and Fred.

ALICE WIRT, 93,
of Bay City, Mich.,
died in Bay City on
Feb. 16, 2015.
She was born to
David and Jenny
Karse on Aug. 21,
1921, in Bay City.

She married Jack
Wirt in 1941.
She and Jack believed in giving
to the Bay City community through
significant philanthropy: to Temple
Israel, the library and the Women's
Center as well as countless service
and charitable organizations.
Mrs. Wirt was a member of Temple
Beth Israel in Bay City, where she was
involved in the sisterhood for many
years. She believed strongly in sup-
porting health and education, help-
